With this project in West Hawk Lake, Whiteshell, we redesigned a large back yard patio deck by performing excavation, removal and disposal of an old wooden deck and badly cracked concrete. We then prepared the area by manually placing, grading and compacting 140 tons of road base gravels, multiple drainage outlets, and rebar installation. Aside from installing stamped concrete for the patio deck, we had also moved a jacuzzi hot tub, reinsulated it with closed cell polyurethane foam, installed a new motor and updated wiring, as well as building a decorative split faced Allan Block ledge around it and matching retaining wall for the landscape. Once the stamped concrete was placed and finished, we topped off the project by pressure cleaning the concrete, coating it with a commercial grade concrete sealer and installed an aluminum and glass railing around the patio deck with lighting.
